Atlantica Owner Plans Three 30-Storey Towers On Dartmouth Waterfront

HALIFAX — Manga Hotels plans to build three towers, containing a combined 800 residential units, on a Dartmouth property overlooking Halifax Harbour. The company hopes to build the towers on a plot of land on Best Street, behind the DoubleTree By Hilton hotel, near the Angus L. MacDonald Bridge.

Manga Hotels keeps faith in hospitality, and downtown Toronto

Manga Hotels is in the early stages of its most ambitious growth phase, with one downtown Toronto property under construction and four more hotels planned. “We have faith in the city and have a long-term view,” company president and chief executive officer Sukhdev Toor told RENX in a recent interview. “It’s a world-class city and we think that after this COVID thing is over that people will travel and there will be pent-up demand because people are tired of sitting at home.”

Extensive Atlantica Halifax reno not just lipstick!

HALIFAX — Manga Hotels has almost completed a $17 million renovation of the 238-room Atlantica Hotel in downtown Halifax. “The hotel was an older property that needed work. It was an extensive renovation — not just lipstick here and there,” Sukhdev Toor, president and CEO of Manga Hotels told CLN.
